We believe that our wellbeing programmes should be free to ALL schools, to ensure equal access for all. We also work hard to tailor resources to be inclusive for all children in these schools. Our work responds to 3 urgent challenges:
1) Children’s Mental Health Crisis: 1 in 5 children are now experiencing a mental health issue (NHS Digital, 2023). Your donation will help fund work to ensure that children have skills and tools for positive mental health, and ability to ask for help to express their feelings.
2) Lack of Mental Health Teacher Training: Teachers ‘significantly’ impact children’s mental health (Royal Society of Medicine, 2022), but we recognise that many teachers feel ill equipped and lack the skills to support social and emotional wellbeing in the classroom (Psychology in Schools, 2022). Your donation contributes towards teacher training, upskilling, and impacting children.
3) Financial Hardship:76% of primary schools in England face budget deficits in 2025 (School Cuts Coalition). We know that schools struggle to find money to pay for training like this, but we know its needed and we know it can make a difference. So be part of changing this picture!
